MANILA, Philippines – The Supreme Court denied Senator Bato dela Rosa’s petition for a temporary restraining order (TRO) against his International Criminal Court (ICC) warrant on Wednesday, May 20.
However, the High Court only acted on the immediate relief sought by Dela Rosa and has yet to decide on other aspects of his petition, such as questions on ICC jurisdiction.
What happens now to Dela Rosa? Will President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. order his arrest in the absence of a TRO?
