TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Juventus have reportedly ruled out a move for Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes because the Premier League club’s asking price is currently beyond their reach.

Fernandes has continued to be an important player for Manchester United, but his future remains uncertain with his current contract set to expire in 2027. United hold an option to extend the deal until 2028.

According to Football365, Manchester United would reportedly consider selling the 32-year-old Portuguese if their valuation is met. Journalist Mark Brus said that figure could be between 50 million euros and 60 million euros, with 51 million pounds cited as the maximum.

Juventus are among several European clubs linked with Fernandes, alongside AC Milan and Galatasaray. The Portuguese midfielder has also attracted interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

However, Italian outlet TuttoJuve reports that Juventus would struggle to turn their interest into a formal negotiation because United’s 50m-60m euros valuation represents a significant financial commitment for the Serie A club.

The report means a move to Juventus currently appears difficult, although Fernandes’ future at Manchester United remains unresolved as discussions over a new contract continue.
