TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Real Madrid topped the 2026/27 Spanish League La Liga standings after a resounding 4-0 victory over Malaga in Matchday 3 at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday, August 30, 2026.
The winning goals for the hosts came from Jude Bellingham, an own goal by Alfonso Herrero, Kylian Mbappe, and Arda Guler.
This haul of three points brought Real Madrid's total to nine points from three matches. Los Blancos maintained a perfect winning record in their opening three games, earning them the top spot in the standings.
Meanwhile, Malaga has secured only one point from three matches and sits in 19th place, according to the official LaLiga website as cited by Antara.
Real Madrid applied pressure right from the kickoff. Trent Alexander-Arnold nearly opened the scoring before the match was even a minute old, but his shot went over the bar.

Madrid's pressure finally paid off in the 19th minute. Bellingham pounced on a loose ball that had slipped away from Mbappe, drove toward the penalty area, and unleashed a low shot that beat Herrero. The score became 1-0.
Madrid doubled their lead just minutes later. Herrero attempted to clear a header from Bellingham, but the ball struck him instead and went into his own net, putting Real Madrid 2-0 ahead.

Real Madrid finally scored a fourth goal in stoppage time. Vinicius Junior delivered a cut-back from the left flank, which Arda Guler finished off.
