Die Roten secured a narrow 2-1 win in the match held at the Ursapharm Arena on Sunday, September 13, 2026.

Kane scored the winning goal for Bayern in the 72nd minute. Earlier, Bayern had taken the lead through Lennart Karl, before Elversberg equalized via substitute Maurice Krattenmacher.

The victory moved Bayern to seven points from three matches, placing them fourth in the provisional standings.

Meanwhile, Elversberg sit in sixth place with six points, according to the official Bundesliga website as cited by Antara.

Bayern played aggressively from the opening whistle. Vincent Kompany's team dominated proceedings and consistently created chances against the Elversberg defense.

Bayern's pressure finally paid off in the 26th minute. Karl put the visitors ahead 1-0, firing home a shot after connecting with a pass from Kane.

Bayern maintained control of the game following the goal. However, no further goals were scored before halftime, and the 1-0 lead remained intact.

At the start of the second half, Bayern once again took the initiative in attack. However, it was Elversberg who managed to snatch an equalizer.

Krattenmacher, who had come on at the start of the second half, unleashed a shot from outside the penalty area that found the back of the Bayern net, leveling the score at 1-1.
