Through diligent practice, they recreate traditional customs.
These days, in Cam Ly ward, Da Lat, the atmosphere of training among artisans and ethnic minority people is intense.
Some members practice dance movements, others review folk songs, and still others meticulously examine each ritual in the traditional K'Ho Lach wedding ceremony. Each practice session is an opportunity for members to exchange ideas, make adjustments, and strive to recreate the cultural aspects of their ethnic group in an authentic and vivid way.
As someone directly involved in guiding and recreating the wedding ceremony of the K'Ho Lach people, village elder Kra Jan K'Mo, from Lang Biang ward, Da Lat, said that in the traditional customs of the Lach people, when a family holds a wedding ceremony, the village elder plays a crucial role in performing the rituals. Therefore, recreating the wedding ceremony in this program is not simply a performance but also an opportunity to introduce customs preserved by the community through many generations.
