Teachers at private schools can count their previous teaching experience towards seniority allowance calculations under the new decree.
The Government Decree No. 77/2021/ND-CP allows for recognition of teaching time at both public and private institutions for allowances.
Effective from August 1, 2021, the decree aims to provide fair compensation for teachers based on their total teaching experience. Read more

According to Government Decree No. 77/2021/ND-CP on the seniority allowance regime for teachers (effective from August 1, 2021), the time used as a basis for calculating the allowance includes not only teaching time at public educational institutions but also teaching time at private educational institutions prior to teaching.
