The Vietnamese automotive market entered August with an increasingly fierce competition to stimulate demand. Numerous car manufacturers and dealerships simultaneously launched promotional programs and discounts, with many models receiving support of up to hundreds of millions of VND, aiming to attract customers during a period when purchasing power showed signs of slowing down.
Notably, the B-segment SUV/crossover market (B-SUV) is becoming one of the "hot spots" in this competition. From best-selling models to more niche products, almost all are offering promotions in varying degrees and forms, creating an increasingly competitive price level.
Here are some B-segment SUVs that are heavily discounted this August:
Subaru Crosstrek price reduced by over 200 million VND.
In this segment, the Subaru Crosstrek, an imported model from Japan , continues to be the vehicle with the deepest price reduction in the Vietnamese market, exceeding 200 million VND compared to the listed price. However, all the discounted Crosstrek vehicles are manufactured from 2025 onwards (VIN 2025).
Specifically, the Subaru Crosstrek 2.0 iS EyeSight (listed price 1.098 billion VND) has been reduced by 218 million VND, down to 899 million VND. The higher-end hybrid version, the Crosstrek 2.0 iS EyeSight e-BOXER Hybrid (listed price 1.268 billion VND), has been reduced by as much as 258 million VND, down to 1.029 billion VND after the discount.
