Clusters of ripe black Hạ grapes in the garden of Hong Nam Green Agricultural Investment and Development Cooperative.
In the grape-growing area of the cooperative in Son Nam ward, the middle of June was bustling with visitors. Under the trellises laden with grapes, many families and groups of young people happily captured moments amidst the cool green space, while also experiencing harvesting and enjoying ripe grapes right in the vineyard. Mr. Tran Ba Can, in charge of the cooperative's vineyard, said: The cooperative currently has about 400 black Hạ grape vines. This year, although the harvest was expected to last about a month and a half, after only a week of opening to visitors, the entire yield of about 1 ton of grapes was sold out at a price of 150,000 VND/kg at the vineyard. What makes us most excited is that the product is sold directly to consumers without having to depend on traders.
