According to Japan Today, Japan Air Commuter (JAC), a subsidiary of Japan Airlines, said the incident occurred as the plane was preparing to depart from Fukuoka Airport to Kagoshima Airport on October 20.
During a pre-flight check, the pilot was surprised to see a small object moving near his feet. Upon closer inspection, he realized it was a snake. The animal quickly slipped into a gap and disappeared.
The crew immediately organized a search, thoroughly checking the cockpit and surrounding areas, but found no further traces of the strange creature.
