At this year’s show, the company will introduce an interactive booth concept that moves beyond traditional vehicle displays. The exhibit will feature two main areas: a Technology Zone and an Adventure Zone.
The Technology Zone will focus on the brand’s new energy solutions, highlighting efforts to balance efficiency, practicality, and innovation in response to current market conditions. Meanwhile, the Adventure Zone will demonstrate the versatility of its vehicles across different lifestyles and driving environments.
“Filipino drivers are navigating a changing landscape, rising fuel prices, diverse road conditions, and evolving lifestyle needs,” said Dax Avenido, brand head of GWM Philippines. “Our approach is to provide solutions that are practical and suited for real-world use, whether for daily efficiency or outdoor activities.”
The brand will also feature insights from Nicole Wu, GWM’s chief technology officer, who will attend the event. Wu is expected to discuss developments in smart technologies for electric vehicles and outline how these innovations are shaping future mobility.
GWM Philippines said its participation in MIAS 2026 reflects its continued focus on offering a range of powertrain options and mobility solutions tailored to different users. The company added that it aims to position itself not just as a vehicle manufacturer, but as a long-term mobility partner for Filipino drivers.
The GWM booth will be open to the public throughout MIAS 2026 this April 9-12, 2026.
